Schedule an In-Home Euthanasia Appointment

Making the decision to schedule an in-home euthanasia appointment is never easy, and our goal is to make this process as gentle and straightforward as possible. Families often reach out during one of the most emotional moments of their pet’s life, and we want you to feel supported, informed, and never rushed. This page explains exactly how our scheduling process works so you know what to expect from start to finish.

How to Begin the Scheduling Process

The first step is to complete our online scheduling form. This form gives us the essential information we need to understand your pet’s condition, your location, and any specific concerns or wishes you have for the visit. We encourage you to include as much detail as you’re comfortable sharing—this helps us prepare and ensures that our team is ready to support your pet’s needs when we speak with you.

Once you submit the form, our team will review the information carefully. You can expect to hear from us within 48 hours. During this follow-up call or email, we will go over your pet’s medical history, discuss the current situation, and help determine whether an in-home euthanasia appointment is appropriate at this time.

If Your Pet Is Having an Emergency

Our team provides peaceful, planned in-home euthanasia visits—we do not offer emergency care. If your pet is currently in distress, having trouble breathing, collapsing, seizing, or showing any sudden, severe symptoms, please go directly to a local emergency veterinary hospital. We also have a dedicated page listing local ER resources to help you find care quickly.

What Happens After You Contact Us

After reviewing your submission, one of our team members will personally reach out to you. This conversation gives you a chance to ask questions, express any concerns, and learn more about how the visit will unfold. We know these discussions can be emotional, and we approach them with patience and compassion. Our goal is to help you feel confident and supported in your decision, whatever you choose.

If both you and our veterinarian feel that an in-home appointment is the right next step, we will then move forward with selecting a date and time that works best for your family. We do our best to accommodate your preferred timeframe, but availability can vary based on location, demand, and the urgency of the situation. We will always be honest with you about our scheduling options.

Booking and Deposits

To officially reserve your appointment, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your chosen date and time and allows us to dedicate our travel time and appointment slot to your family. During scheduling, we will explain the deposit amount, how it can be paid, and the policies regarding cancellations or rescheduling.

We understand that circumstances can change, and we do our best to be flexible while still honoring the time set aside for your pet.

What to Expect After You’re Scheduled

Once your appointment is confirmed, we will provide clear instructions on how to prepare for the visit, what the process typically looks like, and what options you have for aftercare. Our priority is ensuring your pet remains comfortable and peaceful throughout the entire experience.
